Force India along with RM Auctions will be auctioning its Art Car at Battersea Evolution, London. The Force India Art Car will be auctioned on 26th October, just a few days before the starting of Formula One Grand Prix in India. The car that will be auctioned in UK is the same car in which Giancarlo Fisichella raced 16 out of his 18 F1 races in 2008 racing season.

The proceeds of this F1 car auction, which is expected to be at about $ 2,30,000, will be given to Great Ormand Street Hospital Charity and Force India F1 Academy.

The car was first uncovered at the British GP at Silverstone Circuit, catching the eye of a large number of race enthusiasts. The VJM 1-05 chassis of Force India Art Car is painted by popular Dexter Brown. The car carries autographs of leading F1 racers like Jackie Stewart, Niki Lauda, Lewis Hamilton & Fernando Alonso, on its body.

Force India owner, Vijay Malya was very pleased to see the art work done by Dexter Brown on the body of the car and said that he was very proud to see the car as it bought together two of his passions including cars and art.
