      Fiat India opens its new dealership in Secunderabad

      Fiat Group Automobiles India Pvt. Ltd recently inaugurated its new dealership being a part of company's expansion plans. The new dealership is located on the Minister Road in Secunderabad and has a space that comprises 5000 square feet to display cars. Apart from this, an additional 22,500 square feet area is allocated for a state of art workshop at the facility. At the onset of the inaugural ceremony, Nagesh Basavanhalli, President and Managing Director of Fiat Chrysler India Operations was present.

      Speaking on this occasion Basavanhalli said, “Fiat India views Secunderabad as a very strategic market and the inauguration of an exclusive dealership is in accordance with our strategy to capitalise on this potential. We are confident that our association with A V Motors will play a crucial role in identifying the customer base and enhancing customer experience in Secunderabad. With A V Motors, we are associated with a partner who has over 11 years of experience and market knowledge of the automobile trade”

      The company Fiat India is trying to focus on expanding its reach to different parts of the country. Opening of new dealership in Secunderabad once gain showcases the plans of the company in order to widen its footprint in India. During the current year, Fiat India has opened almost 75 plus showrooms in the country and is aiming to inaugurate 25 more in order to reach the figure of 100 by the end of the year.

      With the newly opened dealership store in Secunderabad with A V Motors, Fiat India is planning to offer reliable brand experience to existing and potential customers. The opening of a state of art workshop showcases the efforts that the company is putting in to ensure a great customer satisfaction. The dealership known as A V Motors has a long history of efficiently managing retail trade operations for various car companies in India.

      Commenting on the partnership A V Motors, Basavanhalli said “FGAIPL is striving towards delivering world class sales and after sales experience along with developing strong consumer connect. With close to 11 years of experience in automobile trade, A V Motors was a natural choice”. The newly opened dealership caters of Fiat India will house the two existing models of the company namely Linea and Punto besides offering the soon to be launched models.

      In the meanwhile, Fiat India is now taking the Indian car market seriously as it recently launched a entry-level sedan named Linea Classic. As told by the company, the new car will be slotted in between Grand Punto and the premium version of Linea. In order to compete in the entry-level sedan segment, Linea Classic is priced lower than the premium version of Linea and is offered in two trim levels, namely Classic and Classic+. In terms of competition, Linea Classic shall compete against the likes of Maruti Suzuki Swift DZire, Honda Amaze, Toyota Etios and Chevrolet Sail. As told by Fiat, it is expecting to sell around 30,000 units of Linea Classic despite the challenging market situation of the country.
