In addition, Fiat has been offering new engines to Punto, of late; however the latest specifications may not make their way to the motor of the variant available in the Indian market. The Indian buyers can expect a hike in the power and torque figures in case the car is assimilated with the 1.4 multi-air engine.

Fiat India has been bold enough to step out in the Indian auto industry with just one sedan, Linea, in its portfolio. It must be noted that even as strong competitors have continuously stalked Fiat Linea since its arrival, the company has managed to ward-off every threat by lacing the sedan with unparalleled looks.

The highly attractive styling, immense space, satisfying driveability and well-equipped interiors have given Linea the much needed acceleration in the market. Fiat is also planning to enhance the overall look of Linea 2012, besides offering few additional features.

Thus, Fiat India seems to ensure that it does not stagnate by being content with the previous laurels earned in the Indian auto sector, rather give an all-new definition to its vehicles for better customer satisfaction.
