      Fiat Bravo 2 WD to be launched in the end of 2011

      Fiat India, which is globally know for incorporating cutting edge technology in all its cars, will be launching the eagerly awaited 'Fiat Bravo 2WD' in the end of 2011. This model is going to feature a 2 wheel drive option in addition to the other latest technological features incorporated in it. Fiat Bravo will not be manufactured in India and each its unit will be imported. 

      It appears that Fiat India is constantly straining heaps on developing a superior brand image in India. The launch of the Fiat Bravo 2 WD will definitely boost up its existing Indian hatchback line-up consisting of the 'Fiat Palio' and the 'Fiat Punto'. The Italian automobile giant Fiat, is dedicatedly working on various technological upgradation both in its cars and the manufacturing units in India.

      Fiat Bravo model 2WD will be available in both petrol and diesel variants in India. The rising global crude oil prices have resulted in overall fuel prices hike in India, with petrol topping the charts. This has forced Indian automobile companies including Fiat India to increase the research and development activities of its existing diesel engine technology.

      Fiat Bravo 2 WD will be incorporated with 1910cc engine in its diesel variant and a 1368cc engine in its petrol variant. Diesel variant engine seems to deliver a higher power of 150 bhp at 4000 rpm in comparison to 120 bhp at 5000 rpm delivered by its petrol variant. Further on, the Bravo Diesel would provide higher torque strength of 305 nm and the petrol variant would deliver a maximum torque of 206 Nm at 1750 rpm.  

      The Fiat India Automobile Limited has provided reliable safety features and latest technology in all its models globally. This model is generously spacious from the inside and yet features a compact overlook, which would definitely enable it to be driven in the busiest traffics especially in India.  Length of the Fiat Bravo is 4336 mm with its width and height as 1792 mm and 1498 mm, respectively. This model is also said to be incorporated with a 6 speed manual gear system and power steering, which is regarded very useful while making sharp turns.

      Fiat Bravo will feature the remote central locking system and a spacious boot that can be remotely opened and closed as well.  Nowadays, most of the new car models come with the adjustable steering system that is to be incorporated in the Fiat Bravo as well. All the variants of the new Bravo model are expected to reach a top speed of 190 kmph without any fuss, which is quiet impressive. Petrol version of Fiat Bravo is expected to deliver a mileage of 13 kmpl on highway and 11 kmpl on city roads. On the other hand, the diesel version of this car is expected to deliver mileage of 14 kmpl on highways and 11 kmpl on the urban roads.

      Fiat India Automobiles Limited has its roots well established in India after it started its joint operations in the country with the Tata Motors in the year 1997.
