Fiat’s new car, Avventura crossover made its global debut yesterday in New Delhi, now available for sale in India the crossover range is priced between Rs 5.99 lakh to Rs 8.17 lakh. Available for sale in India at Fiat outlets, the crossover within a day of its launch has clocked 500 bookings. Fiat is expected to start delivering Avventura within a couple of weeks.
Termed as contemporary urban vehicle by Fiat, Avventura is a hatchback based crossover available in both petrol and diesel engine options. The crossover possesses slightly increased dimensions and ground clearance as compared to Punto Evo.
Standard equipments equipped across range include central locking, foldable key, external spare wheel and a few others. The vehicle gets 16-inch alloy wheels on the outside. Inside the cabin, over central air conditioner the vehicle features three gauges including compass and inclinometer. Other important features offered on Avventura comprise of automatic climate control, rear AC vents, remote keyless entry, multi-functional steering wheel, music system with Bluetooth connectivity, front power windows with ‘delay’ and auto down function, rear defogger window wiper and washer, height adjustable drivers’ seat, blue & me infotainment system, integrated CD/MP3 & FM player, voice recognition, SMS readout, real time mileage indicator, seat belt warning light and front & rear fog lamps. Preeminent safety features such as Anti-Lock-Braking-System, Electronic Brakeforce Distribution, engine immobilizer and dual front airbags have been equipped.
Power comes from a 1.4litre FIRE petrol engine that belts out top power of 90 PS at 6000 RPM along with 115 Nm of peak torque at 4500 RPM. Diesel powered Avventura gets renowned 1.3 litre, Multijet diesel powertrain capable of developing pinnacle power of 90 PS and 209 Nm of maximum torque.
New Avventura is available in six colour options including Zafferano Orange, Bronzo Tan, Exotica Red, Minimal Grey, Hip-Hop Black and Vocal grey.
