Just a few days ahead of Avventura’s launch in India next month more details have surfaced about the upcoming crossover from Fiat. To be rolled out in both petrol and diesel engine options, Avventura range will include three trims in each guise totaling to six variants. The entry level Active variant will come equipped with an array of features offered as a standard fitment. These features include central locking, rear spoiler, dual-tone dashboard, rear fog-lamps, ORVMs with blinkers, remote keyless entry, front power windows with auto-down function, inclinometer and compass, follow-me head lights and 16-inch alloy wheels.
Placed between the base and top end variant, the Dynamic trim along with the above mentioned features will also get additional equipment like door ajar warning with a special feature of pointing out the exact door, body coloured ORVM with electrically adjustable mirrors, front fog lamps, door trim with fabric inserts, rear power windows, height adjustable driver seat, audio system with speed sensitive volume control, USB and Aux-in and external temperature. Besides these features the Dynamic diesel variants will come incorporated with preeminent safety features like Anti-Lock-Braking system with Electronic Brakeforce Distribution.
Range topping Emotion variant will be inherited with the features offered on Dynamic trim along with other equipment such as dual airbags for driver and co-passenger, seat belts with pretensioners and load limiters, height adjustable front seat belts, leather wrapped steering wheel and gear shift knob, automatic climate control, rear AC vents, rear defogger and wiper, 60:40 rear split seats, Blue & Me, voice recognition with SMS readout function and steering mounted controls.
Fiat will roll out Avventura range in six colour options- Zafferano Orange, Bronco Tan, Exotica Red, Minimal Grey, Hiphop Black and Vocal White.
Power will be generated by a 1.4 litre FIRE petrol engine that pumps out top power output of 89 Bhp along with 115 Nm of peak torque. Diesel trims will house Fiat’s tried and tested 1.3 litre Multijet engine that yields maximum power of 92 Bhp and 209 Nm of pinnacle torque. Both the engines will be matched to a five-speed manual gearbox. Expected to be priced between Rs 6 lakh to Rs 8 lakh, Avventura crossover will gun straight against the likes of Volkswagen Cross Polo and Toyota Etios Cross in its segment.
