Much awaited Avventura crossover from Fiat made its debute in the country recently. Fiat has just launched the Avventura Crossover in Chennai market for a lucrative price tag of Rs. 6.12 Lakhs for the base petrol variant, whereas the top of the line diesel trim has been launched for Rs. 8.35 Lakhs. At the launch event Mr. Nagesh Basavanhalli, President and MD, Fiat Chrysler Automobiles, India Operations was quoted as saying, “We are thrilled to launch Avventura, India’s first Contemporary Urban Vehicle (CUV), a lifestyle product which is specially designed for someone who is continuously in search of enthusiasm. The Avventura showcases FIAT’s commitment to India to produce cars designed for India and manufactured for India. As per our 3 pillar strategy, we have strengthened our dealer network, after sales service and with our unique 2014 product portfolio we aim to become one of the most flavored car companies in India.”
The Fiat Avventura crossover gains belts out top power of 90 PS at 6000 RPM along with 115 Nm of peak torque at 4500 RPM from its 1.4litre FIRE petrol engine, whereas the diesel trim with a 1.3 litre, Multijet engine delivers an impressive 90 PS and 209 Nm of maximum torque. As the rest of the states in the country, the Fiat Avventura in Chennai is available in six color options like Exotica Red, Minimal Grey, Hip-Hop Black, Vocal Grey, Zafferano Orange and Bronzo Tan.
