For exclusivity, globally popular sports carmaker Ferrari had limited the LaFerrari hypercar to only about 499 units. Recently, Italy was hit by a powerful 6.2-magnitude earthquake that left nearly 250 people dead. In order to help the affected, Ferrari has decided to produce 500th unit of the LaFerrari and auction it. The amount raised will be used to provide relief to the earthquake victims.

The limited edition LaFerrari costs around £1.15 million (Approx. Rs 10.2 crore), while the upcoming 500th unit is expected to fetch close to £3 Million or more (Rs 26.5 crore - 30 crore) during actions. The La Ferrari is powered by a 6.3-litre V12 engine, it generates a powerful 950bhp of power. The hypercar is capable of achieving a top speed of about 349kmph and does a 0-100kmph in just about 2.5 seconds.

Each standard LaFerrari comes with the Limited Edition badging that also states the unit number for exclusivity. The last unit of the LaFerrari ever to be produced not just offers a chance to own the final masterpiece but also gives the interested buyer a chance to do some good deed. The sports carmaker has not revealed the confirmed dates for the auction yet and it is expected to be known in the coming days.
