Many might not know who Joel Thomas Zimmerman is, the truth being that this person is better known by his stage name deadmau5 (pronounced as Dead Mouse). Joel is a Canadian progressive-house music producer and stage performer from Toronto in Ontario. However, this is not the reason why he has shot into the limelight for now. Ferrari, the Italian automobile giant has sent a Cease and Desist letter to the performer asking him to get the outrageous customisations removed from his Ferrari 458, which had been renamed as the Purrari. For that matter, the lawyers of the Italian automobile giant seemed quite strict about this issue and would like Joel to follow the orders at the earliest behest.

Zimmerman was first brought into the limelight when he wrapped his all-new Ferrari 458 Spider in the Nyan Cat Theme, which is itself the name of a YouTube video. The video features an animated cat, which has a body of a Pop-Tart. Merging with a Japanese song, the cat flies through space, leaving a trail of colours behind it. The signature prancing horse of the Ferrari was replaced by a prancing cat. Apart from that, the Ferrari logo was removed and a custom-made Purrari badge was installed with customised floor mats. Definitely, the Italian automobile giant would not have taken the matter quite well and a subsequent lawsuit was filed against Joel. As a result, Joel had to get the customisations removed and meanwhile got himself a McLaren 650 S Spider.
