The much awaited performance oriented Abarth Punto from Fiat comes much closer to fulfilling one of your desires. FCA India has reportedly started accepting bookings for the vehicle for Rs 50,000. The company would launch the new model in about a month's time and would be sold across 100+ exclusive dealerships in India.

The 'Made in India' Abarth is expected to help FCA India rake good profits during the festive season. The performance hatch is powered by 1.4-litre T-Jet turbocharged petrol engine mated to a five-speed manual transmission that generates about 145bhp of power with about 200Nm of torque. To ensure superior performance the vehicle gets a tweaked suspension and braking system along with 20mm lower ride height.
