Last year in September, all the car makers were directed to increase the manufacturing of spare parts and their flow in the market. This also raised the fear that this will increase the production and sales of fake and non-certified genuine parts in the market. The Chief Purchase Officer at Mahindra and Mahindra said that the marketing of fake and non-certified parts increase the concern in safety of the people as fake spare parts can damage the vehicle, causing a brake failure to triggering fire. Non-genuine parts can also damage the engine of the vehicle, causing a serious accident. Nowadays, the marketing of the fake and non-certified parts has increased rapidly and the sales of the company have also fallen.
