      First seen at the 2012 Geneva Motor Show, the Volvo V40 has indeed been one of the most awaited hatchbacks in the country. The highly anticipated Volvo V40 has been launched at a lucrative price tag of about Rs. 24.75 Lakh (Ex-showroom Delhi). The company has also launched the higher-end trim named the R-Design version at a price tag of about Rs. 27.75 Lakh (Ex-showroom Delhi).

      The Volvo V40 gets a 2.0 Liter D3 twin turbo 4-cylinder engine under the hood that is capable of generating about 150 Bhp of power with 350 Nm of torque. The decently powered engine shall be mated to 6-speed automatic transmission. In terms of cosmetic upgrades the vehicle offers various customization options to buyers. The vehicle gets automatic climate control system, power front seats, digital display on console and leather seats that offer an upmarket feel.

      Additionally the company also offers automatic bending headlights, panoramic sunroof, vertical light stack etc as part of fresh upgrades. Customers also have an option to choose between 16-inch to 17-inch alloy wheels. The vehicle being offered at a lucrative price tag is indeed expected to a hot seller in the Indian upmarket sedan segment.
