Maruti Suzuki Swift has been the country's favorite pick in the hatchback segment owing to its unique qualities like – Distinctive style, Performance, Efficiency and Reliability. As treat to its fan following in the country, Maruti Suzuki has recently launched the limited edition of Swift 'Windsong Edition'. The company has limited the production of this special edition to just about 100 units and shall be retailed via limited limited dealership outlets in the country.
Speaking on unique aspects of Swift 'Windsong Edition' gets GT stripes on the bonnet, body kit with side skits, new allow wheels with yellow paint job, Contrasting roof in black colour and flank decals. The limited edition trim shall only be available in diesel. The hatchback shall be powered by 1.3-litre Multi-Jet turbo diesel engine that is capable of delivering a maximum power output of about 74bhp with a peak torque output of about 190 Nm. The five speed manual gearbox mated vehicle reportedly delivers an impressive fuel efficiency of about 25.2 kmpl. For entertainment the hatchback gets 2-Din music system with USB, AUX-in and Bluetooth connectivity. Apart from this, the hatchback also gets electrically foldable outside rear view mirrors, push button start and speed sensing audio system. The limited edition trim shall be priced about Rs. 40,000 – 50,000 extra over the regular variant.
