Land Rover introduced the new Range Rover SV Autobiography Dynamic in India for the price of Rs 2.79 crore (ex-showroom pan India). The new SV Autobiography Dynamic is positioned between two long wheel base variants of the V8 Autobiography and the SDV8 SV Autobiography in India.

What’s special about the SV Autobiography Dynamic is that the Jaguar Land Rover’s Special Vehicle Operations (SVO) team worked their magic to add a bit of extra exclusivity and luxury to the SUV. It becomes the fourth vehicle to wear the SV brand in India after the Range Rover SV Autobiography, Range Rover Sport SVR and Jaguar F-TYPE SVR.

The SV Autobiography Dynamic brings together two different aspects of Land Rover Range Rover philosophy – luxury and sporty. It gets a new and unique graphite atlas finish on the hallmark vertical slats found on every Range Rover. The red painted Brembo brake callipers are shout-out at performance and they are paired exclusively with designed 20-inch alloy wheels with a contrast finish.

What stands out inside the cabin are the diamond quilted leather seats. The front and rear door veneers are done in black and are completed in contrasting red key line, the rotary shifter is finished in piano black, while the interior trim can be had in four interior colourways. Ebony/Ebony, Ebony/Pimento, Ebony/Tan and Ebony/Cirrus. The InControl Touch Pro infotainment system is integrated into the 10-inch touchscreen display dominated the centre console. All the other bells and whistles that the British carmaker has on offer comes as a standard fitment.

The Range Rover SV Autobiography Dynamic is powered by the same 5.0-litre supercharged V8 engine producing 543bp and 680Nm with maximum torque available between 3,500 and 4,000rpm. Transmission is a ZF derived eight-speed unit sending power to all four wheels. This behemoth can accelerate to 100kmph from standstill in a respectable 5.4 seconds and tops out at 225kmph.

The Range Rover SV Autobiography Dynamic is a true-blue luxury SUV that money can buy. And at Rs 2.79 crore, it’s a lot of money. In that price range, the Mercedes-Benz S600 Maybach is the most prominent sedan available in India. Apart from it, the Porsche 911 S Cabriolet could also satisfy your need for speed, while the Audi R8’s performance is nothing short of a supercar. And if a supercar is really what you want, the BMW i8 is the supercar of the future that you can also buy for the price of the SV Autobiography Dynamic.
