BMW has been one of leading carmakers in the luxury car segment in the country. In India, the company currently has about 37 sales outlets and it expects the numbers to rise up to 50 sometime by the end of 2015. Moreover, in the Indian production facility the group manufactures popular X1, and X3 and X5 SUV’s, along with 1 Series, 3-Series, 3-Series Gran Turismo, 5-Series and 7-Series, and many more. Effective from 1st January, 2015, the BMW group has stated that it shall hike the car prices by up to 5%.
