The GT3 racing inspired Lamborghini Huracan has been spotted testing rigorously at the mecca of supercar testing – the Nurburgring. The lighter and more powerful Lamborghini which generally gets the Superleggera moniker is slated to carry the Performante badge and was expected to debut at Geneva in the first week of March.
But going by this post by Lamborghini India, the Lamborghini Huracan Performante might break cover much before Geneva i.e. on February 23. While we are not sure if it would be a showcase or a teaser video of the raging bull doing rounds at the Nordeschleife, Lamborghini seems to have decided to steal the thunder.
The huracan Performante is powered by the same 5.2-litre V10 engine but develops close to 640bhp of power, about 30 more than the standard car. Also with the aerodynamic aids (the large wing on the back) and an extensive use of carbin fibre which will reduce the weight, the Performante will be certainly faster than the Huracan both from 0-100 and at the top whack. We might get to see the beauty in India as well and if it comes, expect it to be north of Rs 4 crore.
