Eicher trucks and buses have marked a 31.9 per cent fall in their monthly sales of September 2012 by delivering 3150 units. However, the year-till-date sales of the auto maker stood at 36720 units with a growth of 2.5 per cent under the review of 35833 units sold in the corresponding period of last year.
Considering the sales in Commercial Vehicle (CV) market (5T and above), the company registered a sales of 3026 units against 4152 vehicles delivered in year-ago period, marking a fall of 27 per cent. The vehicle delivered between January and September 2012 in the same segment stood at 34915 units, which reported an increase of 4.5 per cent when compared to 33411 units sold in same tenure last year.
In domestic bus segment, the company sold 612 units during the period against 550 vehicles delivered in yea ago tenure in last year, which showed an increase of 11.3 per cent. Between January and September, the auto maker delivered 7152 buses with a growth of 23.7 per cent under the review of 5389 units sold in same period of last year.
Eicher trucks and buses sold 443 units in the HD segment of the Indian auto industry in September 2012, while delivered 636 units in the year-ago period. The year-till-date sales of the company stood at 5812 units which showed an increase of 12.4 per cent when compared to 5172 units sold in 2011.
