Beginner, amateur and professional riders can now enrol themselves for the eagerly awaited Ducati Riding Experience (DRE) 2013, through the Ducati website. It is a tried and tested format of racing, which has already been run for the last ten years at the Ducati riding school Three time Superbike world champion Troy Bayliss has confirmed his availability to teach track riding techniques on the new 1199 Panigale S Superbikes.
1199 Panigale S, race chariots for DRE 2013, will be customized with body kits, an aero kit and fibre parts. These vehicles will be available for beginner riders, as the 1199 Panigale S has Riding Mode technology to assist them. For intermediates and professional riders, the Multistrada 1200 and the Monster 1100 EVO Superbikes will be used. Apart from Bayliss, other experienced instructors would also be present for the grand event. The Multistrada and the Monster Superbikes also have the renowned Ducati Skyhook Suspension, ABS (Anti Lock Braking System) and traction control technologies, which would provide the riders a truly memorable experience.
Troy Bayliss also has his own Racing Academy, where the 1199 S version (more advanced than the 1199 Panigale S) will be used. The Australian racer, who is now retired, has also won the British Superbike Championship and MotoGP, using Ducati machinery. He has 52 World Superbike victories, which are second only to racer Carl Fogarty.
With a high degree of emphasis on track safety and constant development, the course will take the collaboration between Ducati and Federazione Motociclistica Italiana a step forward. Various enthusiasts participating in this course would be provided with a Ducati motorcycle, instructor, a welcome kit and lunch.
