The launch of the Ducati Scrambler is imminent in India but the prices of the Scrambler range have been revealed, according to Bikewale. Eagerly awaited by motorcycle aficionados across the country, the Ducati Scrambler range is expected to be launched soon. It is being said that Ducati has managed to keep the price of the bikes aggressive by importing them from Thailand via the CBU (Completely Built Unit) route. India is in a free trade agreement with Thailand, which negates the possibility of paying any sort of or minimal custom duty. This, quite logically, has helped Ducati lower the price of the bikes.
Ducati Scrambler will be powered by the same 803 cc engine that powers the Monster 795 bike. This V-Twin powertrain is capable of developing an output of 75 BHP and is mated to six-speed transmission system. Similar to the international market, Ducati will be launching five models of Scrambler in India. The expected prices of Ducati Scrambler are as follows:
Icon red: Rs 6.38 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi)
Icon yellow: Rs 6.48 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi)
Urban Enduro : Rs 7.54 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi)
Classic: Rs 7.54 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi)
Full Throttle: Rs 7.54 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi)
