      Ducati Diavel launched in India at Rs 17 lakh

      Ducati Diavel, the much awaited premium segment bike, marked its debut in the Indian market on Sunday. The company unveiled the new Diavel in a launching ceremony held at its Bangalore based outlet. A large number of media and bike enthusiasts were present at the occasion. The Diavel carries a price tag of Rs 17 lakh.

      The all new Ducati Diavel comes powered by a 1200 cc engine that is capable of generating a peak power of 162 bhp. Surprisingly, the total weight of the bike is just 204 kg, just 35 kg more than the Pulser 220cc. The major attractions of the bike include LED headlights, Traction control, ABS (anti-lock braking system), Pirelli racing tires, 3 riding modes including Sport, Urban and Touring. According to Bordiga, the Diavel is the most exciting innovation in the Ducati 2011 line as it represents a new concept of motorcycle.
