DSK Motowheels, which is engaged in assembling and selling the bikes of Hyosung in India, is planning to introduce a new GV650 cruiser bike in the country. Named as Hyosung GV650 Aquila, the upcoming model will be assimilated with a 650 cc V-twin engine, which is almost identical to the one incorporated in Suzuki SV650. Industry experts believe that the model will sparkle at the Indian market soon with a price tag of around Rs. 4.5 lakhs. The 647 cc V2 engine of GV650 comes with four-stroke technology. It has four valves per cylinder with a compression ratio of 11.6:1. Owing to its fuel injection technology, the upcoming GV650 is expected to deliver an impressive mileage. In order to offer a hassle free ride, Hyosung has incorporated upside down telescopic suspensions in front and swing arm with hydraulic double shock absorber at the rear of yet-to-be launched GV650.

For safety measures, double disc brake has been equipped at the front tyres, whereas a single disc with 2 pistons caliper is placed at the rear tyre of GV650. The power to weight ratio of this model is 0.3450 bhp/kg, which makes it easy to handle and light to ride. The seat height of GV650 is 27.8 inches, which provides a decent stance to rider.

With the upcoming launch of this bike, industry experts believe that the performance biking in the country will be taken to a completely new level. Hyosung GV650 is anticipated to deliver a strong competition to the likes of Honda CBR600R and the upcoming Kawasaki Ninja 650R.
