The name Aquila in the motorcycle segment reminds of good old times seen around a decade ago. Back then, 'Aquila 250' from Kinetic had created a stir in the local market with its impressive looks and performance figures. The bike indeed made way for the cruiser segment in India. Post launch, the Aquila 250 was popular amongst the urban class but could not generate the expected sales numbers, the reason being due to lack of service centers and spare parts. Back in February, the Aquila 250 from DSK Hyosung has been relaunched amid with improved technological upgrades at a price tag of about Rs. 2.69 Lakhs.
Design for Hyosung Aquila 250 has undergone some changes. The bike now features a lower positioned seat that has been designed to deliver a comfortable riding position. The footrests have been angled forward to provide ample support when you ride over long distances. The new Aquila 250 has been blessed with ample amounts of Chrome to give it a true cruiser appeal. The handlebars have been set at a higher position and twin dial instrument cluster comes with a chrome finish.
The Hyosung Aquila 250 is powered by oil-cooled DOHC, 8-valve engine. The V twin-cylinder engine generates power of around 26.21 bhp with 21.37 Nm of Torque. The engine is mated with a Five-speed gear box and features 4 valves per cylinder to tackle heating issues. The front wheel has been blessed with hydraulic disc brake, whereas the rear gets a drum brake.
