With this license, DSK Group has marked their entry in the rapidly growing two-wheeler segment, and is now planning to invest Rs 300 crore for establishing a new plant. The company plans to roll-out three new Hyosung portfolio bikes in the Indian market including bikes in the 250 CC segment.

It is to be mentioned here that DSK Group is the third partner of S&T group in the Indian market, as the company was earlier associated with Kinetic Motors in mid 2000s and then with Garware Motors.

In a recent statement, Mr. Shirish Kulkarni, Managing director at DSK Motowheels, said, "S&T Motors were not really comfortable to begin with, but after a few meetings, they knew we are serious about the future and want to grow the brand in India. They are happy to partner with us now and we are going ahead full steam with our two wheeler business."
