White has been shifted to Volkswagen Group Australia as its Managing Director and Brand Director of Volkswagen Passenger Cars. White will assume office and new liabilities with effect from April 1, 2013. Further, ex-Head of Volkswagen India- Maria Stenstrom has been identified as White's successor at the company's Canadian division. As per reports, White is taking over the command of Volkswagen Group Australia from Anke Kockler, who is set for a different role and division.

Dr. Wolf-Stefan Specht has been given the territories of India and the Far East as part of his latest job description. Prior to his new assignment, Dr. Specht worked as the Head of Central Sales Region, Volkswagen Passenger Cars, a position he held for more than two years since 2010. He joined the German automotive firm in the year 2001 and has been a member of senior management positions since 2004. Evidently, Volkswagen is still a new name as passenger car maker in Indian auto market and chases Maruti Suzuki, Hyundai, Tata Motors and Honda, amongst others in terms of total sales.
