      Dr. Schlipf is the new MD & CEO of BMW Financial Services India

      BMW Financial Services India, a completely owned subsidiary of the German luxury automotive marque BMW Group, has appointed Dr. Stefan David Schlipf as its new Managing Director (MD) and Chief Executive Officer (CEO). The 44 year old German had started office on April 1, 2013 at the firm’s headquarters based in Gurgaon (National capital region).

      Prior to his new role at BMW Financial Services India, Dr. Schlipf was the MD of New Markets and Cooperation Management at BMW Financial Services, Germany. The senior executive was based out of Munich and handled the company’s finance business on home turf Germany. Dr. Stefan David Schlipf has more than 14 years of experience and had joined BMW Financial Services in 2005.

      Dr. Schlipf was born on January 12, 1969 in Germany and has a Master’s degree from the Munich-based Technical University in Physics. The top level executive received his Doctorate in Physics from the renowned Max Planck Institute (Quantumoptics) and Ludwig Maximilian University, Munich.

      BMW Financial Services India is a Non-Banking Finance Company (NBFC) and has its operations in business sectors- Commercial Finance, Retail Finance and Insurance Solutions (through cooperation partners).
