Most often car and bike owners need to visit a authorized service center or visit a local garage to get small snags repaired at exorbitant prices. This time around auto portal named vicky.in has launched a 'do-it-yourself' (DIY) online tool that helps you with details on how to fix and replace the affected spares in their vehicle. Speaking more on the occasion, the company said, “The basic task of replacing a wiper blade in car or a battery in a bike is simple. But since the information is held by retailers and OEM (original equipment manufacturer) showrooms, customers are always forced to get their vehicle to the showroom even for a minor replacement.”

Speaking more on the occasion, Karthick Annamalai, co-founder of the portal said, “We are sure that life will be much easier for car enthusiasts who prefer our DIY tool when it comes to vehicle maintenance and repairs. This information has been privy to technicians and available in service manual which is hard to decode for normal users. With the smartphone revolution in India, DIY using mobile app is not far away. We plan to add DIY videos and launch an app-based on this tool shortly.”

Customers can use the tool to upgrade tools by specifying the spare details. The tool then helps find the right match without hassle. The portal stated, “Indian auto after-market is unorganized and is highly notorious for its incompatible products, which results in last minute surprises for end-users. Vicky.in DIY tool will help customers to choose the right ones and enables easy upgradation to premium products.”
