      Diwali, the festival of lights ushers fresh offers on cars

      Festive season comes as a boon to most of the car makers in the Indian auto market. In a view of recording brilliant sales, most of the car companies offer numerous freebies and goodies to lure price sensitive Indian buyers. Heading the bandwagon comes Maruti Suzuki India Limited, the country’s largest passenger car manufacturer, who has introduced new offers this festive season. Anticipating to report record sales, the company is offering total benefits worth Rs. 97600 on buying a new Maruti Suzuki model.

      The range of freebies and goodies for this Diwali starts rights from its cheapest car Alto 800 hatchback to its most expensive SX4 sedan (except the newly launched Celerio model). The benefits offered ranges from Rs. 25,678 to Rs. 97,600 and these benefits can be availed in the form of cash discounts, exchange bonus, gold coins, corporate discount and free insurance, among others. For the convenience of customers, the total benefit amount has been already decided, depending on the car model.

      Interested buyers can bring home the all new Alto with a total benefit of Rs. 69,688. Next model kin the league is Alto K10 on which the auto maker is offering discounts worth Rs 64,688. On the other hand, other hatchbacks like WagonR and A Star bear benefits of Rs. 74,688 and Rs 87,688 respectively. Coming to the diesel variants of Swift series, the hatchback comes at a discount of Rs. 38,245 while DZire is offered with benefits worth Rs. 25,678. Maruti Estilo attract discounts worth Rs. 72,688, while Ritz and SX4 are offered with benefits of Rs. 87,688 and Rs. 97,600. In the utility vehicle segment, Eeco, Omni and Ertiga are offered with discounts worth Rs. 28,496, Rs. 34,246, and Rs. 44,246, respectively.

      Industry experts are of a view that these discounts and benefits are sure to pull in some decent volumes for the car makers. Along with Maruti Suzuki, there are a number of auto makers who are planning to offer different schemes to lure the Indian buyers during this festive season.
