It’s the end of the year and everyone (manufacturers that is) are looking to finish their stocks before the New Year and new stocks enter the sales chain. We have put together some of the discounts that are currently being offered by various manufacturers.
Firstly, Ford is offering discounts on its launch line-up for 2015. The EcoSport which saw minor updates this year is being offered with a discount of Rs 44,000 while the Figo hatchback and Aspire compact sedan are being offered with benefits of Rs 53,000 and 62,000 respectively. Those looking to buy the EcoSport on loan can avail the offer with a 7.99 per cent rate of interest.
Toyota is offering benefits on the Etios trio. The sedan and hatchback are being offered with Rs 30,000 reduction while the Cross can be bought with benefits worth 40,000. It also has similar offers on the Corolla Altis and Innova while the Fortuner SUV can be had with an EMI of 29,999 per month.
Chevrolet is aiming to push the slow moving Sail sedan and Beat hatchback with benefits worth Rs 75,000 and Rs 76,000 respectively. Further, there are discounts worth Rs 77,000 on the Enjoy MPV and a whopping Rs 1.38 lakh reduction on the Cruze sedan. The American automaker is also holding a special cashback offer where a lucky few customers will get back Rs one lakh on the purchase of any Chevy car.
Hyundai, who announced a price hike from January 2016 hike, are offering discounts on various models. The amounts range from Rs 44,000 to Rs 70,000 on their flagship Santa Fe SUV. These benefits can be had in the form of extended warranties, zero down payments and also cash discounts.
Nissan has discounts on the Terrano in the range of Rs 1 lakh while Tata Motors has benefits across the range. Among these the Bolt can be had with benefits worth Rs 60,000 while the Nano, which was facelifted earlier this year, gets benefits worth Rs 56,000.
While the Baleno hatchback has seen instant success with over 9000 units being shipped out within just a few months, the S-Cross seems to be struggling and Maruti Suzuki has launched a special edition called the Premia and is even offering discounts worth Rs 60,000 to Rs 80,000.
Honda too has joined the end-of-the-year discounts band wagon but in select cities. Those buying the Mobilio get benefits worth Rs 1.5 lakh in select regions while the discount on the same car is Rs 90,000 in certain other areas. The Amaze compact sedan gets India wide benefits worth Rs 40,000.
Renault is offering a daily prize and a weekly prize for customers. Their deal also includes discounts worth Rs 40,000 to Rs 80,000 for the Duster while their premium models like the Fluence and Koleos have offers summing up to at least Rs 1 lakh.
It seems the discount train has not left the luxury manufacturers like Mercedes-Benz, Volvo, Audi, BMW, Mini and JLR too. You can get benefits and reductions up to Rs 10 lakh depending on the model and availability of stock.
All discounts listed are indicative and the actual amount is likely to vary depending on factors like the manufacturer, the car, the dealer and the location.
