Images of production version of Figo sedan that is sold in Brazil as Ka+ sedan have been teased by Ford Brazil. The images have a striking similarity with the Figo sedan concept exhibited in India in February at the 12th Auto Expo held in Greater Noida. The images of Ka+ sedan reveal that negligible changes have been made to the production version as compared to the Figo sedan concept form revealed in India.
Changes have been made to the head lights, no change has been made to the overall design of the head lamps, though it gets a light cluster in place of contemporary head lamps as seen in the concept version. Inside the cabin, a redesigned dashboard can also be seen resembling with the one in Fiesta sedan. Centre console also looks very similar to the one in Fiesta sedan. In Brazil, the Ka+ sedan will come equipped with the same set of engines as offered on the Ka hatchback. The high end variant is likely to come with the 1.0 litre, EcoBoost engine that is also offered on the EcoSport compact SUV.
Brazilian market will get Ka+ sedan with length measuring over four meters contrary to the sub-four meter version for the domestic market. In India sub-four meters cars enjoy the benefit of low excise duty levied on sub-four meter cars equipped with petrol and diesel engines of low displacement of under or equal to 1.2 litre and 1.5 litre respectively. India is likely to get both petrol and diesel engine options.
