Land Rover has been in news for quite sometime now. Though, the crux of the matter is finally here for everybody to witness. The leading British car manufacturer has mulled on teasing the market and the buyers with the preview of its newly created concept, The Defender. The concept car would be displayed on 13th September at Franfurt Motor Show. From the start, The Defender gained immense recognition in the car world. Its strength lies in the fact that it is capable of becoming an icon of styling that is displayed in military vehicles and off-road abilities and performance are the add-ons.

Land Rover desires to provide a glimpse and an idea of what the contour and appearance the extraordinary vehicle will be carrying, as it gradually comes out of the shell in the future. The next model of the Defender is likely to be revealed in 2015, and Land Rover is mulling upon a potential design with the DC100, which will break its cover in September at the Frankfurt motor show.

Land Rover confirmed the time regarding the arrival of the concept, but did not divulge any information about whether the vehicle will come to North America or not. The car sale was discontinued in the United States in 1997. Land Rover is expected to interact with the current as well as potential future customers, to know their take on the concept. The DC100 is a shade of the future events that would unfold in terms of styling that is believed to inspire by the models that the brand began with in 1948.

Land Rover conveys that it is aware of the fact that bringing the looks of the Defender under the knife could be adverse for its identity and conveys that the production of the concept into a full-fledged road runner would take atleast four years from now.

The Defender is believed to woo off-road enthusiasts more than anybody but the “Big Show” is still in its initial phase and it would be interesting to see what it comes with, in the future.
