A special edition of the Datsun Redi-GO might be launched soon. This Diamond edition is expected to get some exterior enhancements and new features.
In line with the Gold edition already on sale, the new Diamond edition might also get some features and comsetic updates that will differentiate it from the standard hatchback. These will include limited exterior body colour options with stickers on the bonnet, sides, roof and the tail gate. We can expect it to get a reverse parking sensor and Bluetooth enabled music system too, if it is offered in the top-end variant.
Datsun wants to boost the sales of this entry-level hatchback and hence will offer the special Diamond edition in all variants. This includes the 800cc model, 1.0-litre petrol mill powered model and even the AMT versions. We can expect the carmaker to reveal all the details with prices soon.
Edit: Nissan India confirmed with the dealer sources informing us that this will be a dealer-specific variant offered on the 2017 year models.
