Nissan India will launch the second Datsun product- the Go+ MPV in the country tomorrow. Datsun India’s official website has already revealed important details about the compact MPV. Based on the Go hatchback, the new MPV is a sub-4 metre utility vehicle and will open an all-new segment, the sub-compact MPV - in the country. The compact MPV is expected to be priced in the range of Rs. 4 lakh to Rs. 6 lakh.

The seven-seater Go+ MPV will share its engine lineup with the Go hatchback. Under the bonnet is the 1.2-litre three cylinder petrol unit that churns out a maximum power output of 67bhp at 5000rpm and a peak torque of 104Nm at 4000rpm. This engine is paired to a five-speed manual gearbox which sends power to the front wheels of the car. The engine is claimed to return an impressive fuel economy of 20.62kmpl.
