      Datsun Go-Cross concept showcased at 2015 Tokyo Motor Show

      The Go-Cross from Datsun has been in the news for quite sometime now. Based on the Go+ MPV platform, the company has officially unveiled the Go-Cross concept at the 2015 Tokyo Motor Show. Speaking more on the occasion, Vincent Kobe, said at the event, “It is an important day for Datsun today. In addition to the continued expansion of sales and service network in the four markets to put the Datsun brand, we plan to expand the model line-up to three models in India. In early 2016, we will release a new model in India.”

      Datsun Go Cross Concept

      The technical specification for Datsun Go-Cross concept is not known for now. Based on what could be seen, the Go-Cross gets LED lights mated alongside air dams on the front bumper. The vehicle sported body cladding, roof rails that flows smoothly with a raising window line. Additionally, the vehicle also sports larger alloy wheels.

      At the rear, the Datsun Go-Cross gets roof-mounted spoiler and skid plates. The vehicle being offered as a crossover, the also sported a good amount of ground clearance on it. In India, Russia and Indonesia, Datsun's total sales volume until now has been about 114,000 units. If launched, the vehicle could indeed claim a strong market share in the crossover segment in India.
