A good news comes for the Indian car enthusiasts as the rumor that Jeep will be entering the country is confirmed. Fiat-Chrysler group that owns Jeep have planned to present the latest Renegade model to the Indian roads by the end of 2017. Renegade revives the classy and authentic look of the Jeep with its circular headlights and designer grille.
The model is also equipped with far more elegant and aesthetic features including squared-off tail lamps and black body cladding, etc. Its interiors will comprise of a touchscreen infotainment system with a multi-function steering wheel. Interestingly, the 5-seater compact SUV is not as compact as it sounds.
The technical configuration for the Indian version of this model is not confirmed as of now; however the auto maker is offering a turbocharged petrol and diesel engine options in Renegade at the moment in the global market. Industry experts believe that same configurations can be seen in the Indian model as well, but with few alters. They say that patience leads to success. With the new year, though many cars, bikes and SUVs have been lined up for the launch, but if one wants to ride a Renegade in the country, he still might have to wait for a couple of years.
