Entry level sedans have experienced a high demand in the Indian auto market, owing to their affordability levels, comfort and spaciousness. This segment has a high number of competitors, which includes the likes of Ford Classic, Mahindra Verito Vibe, Chevrolet Sail, Maruti Suzuki Swift DZire and Tata Indigo eCS. However, the introduction of Honda Amaze has completely changed dynamics of this segment. The market for diesel cars has always been solid in India due to many reasons. A large number of people prefer driving diesel-powered cars due to their fuel efficiency, suitability for long run and power packed performance. Other than hatchbacks, wherein petrol models dominate, all other segments have a high demand for diesel cars, including the entry level sedans.

This entry level sedan has been appreciated for its design, powerful engine and technologically advanced features. This engine is capable of generating an output of around 63 bhp at 4000 rpm and top torque of 160 Nm at 2000 Nm. Performance of this sedan is enhanced by the engine, which has been appreciated for its durability. Driving comfort of this sedan is ensured by Drive Information System that displays information regarding distance to empty, mileage and temperature.

On the other hand, Honda Amaze is based on the Brio platform, which has earned great success across the globe. This sedan has been praised for its modern day design comprising appealing chrome front grille, eye catching headlamps, attractive rear combi lamps and stylish alloy wheels. Highlights of interiors of Honda Amaze are power folding ORVM, eco lamp, advanced audio system, convenient tilt steering, height adjustable driver seat and sporty speedometer.
