      In Indigo eCS, Tata Motors offers three different engine options, out which two are diesel and one is petrol. Diesel units comprise 1.4-litre CR4 and 1.4-litre TDI BS III while in petrol, the company has given a lighter 1.2-litre MPFI powertrain. As far as output statistics of all three engines are concerned, 1.4-litre CR4 gives away 88 bhp and 140 Nm of torque. On the other hand, 1.4-litre TDI BS III compliant variant possess an ability to generate 88 bhp of power and 135 Nm of torque. Maruti Suzuki Swift DZire is available at Rs. 5.03 lakh for base variant while the top-specification trim costs around Rs. 7.59 lakh. Chevrolet Sail comes at almost the same price as its range starts from Rs. 5.12 lakh and goes on till Rs. 7.5 lakh. While talking about price of Tata Indigo eCS, it is the most economical car in its segment, available at an introductory price of Rs. 4.99 lakh, which goes on till Rs. 6.03 lakh for top-end variant.

      To sum things up, it must be mentioned that even though output figures of Maruti Suzuki Swift DZire are not that great, this car still is a better choice as it is technically more sorted compared to rivals. Considering price tag and overall design structure, Maruti Suzuki Swift DZire is a better buy as it is also the default choice of many when it comes to the entry-level sedan segment.
