A great book for travel enthusiasts has been written by Bob Rupani, Executive Editor of Auto India, which happens to be the first coffee table book that has been released in partnership with Volkswagen (VW) India. The book is titled as ‘India's 100 best destinations’ and it covers beautiful locations that are a must for driving down in the country have been featured.
A special attention has been given to VW vehicles Polo, Vento, Passat and Touareg. The German auto maker feels that this brand building exercise will motivate buyers of the brand to use their cars for visiting exotic locations, mentioned in the book.
The coffee table book was launched in Mumbai at a press event where Arvind Saxena, Managing Director for VW passenger cars and Neil Nitin Mukesh, Bollywood actor, were present. Reportedly, Neil has a long standing relationship with VW India. During the event, Lutz Kothe, the Head for Marketing and PR with VW passenger cars said, “A coffee table book on travel is a very natural extension for a company like Volkswagen.
With this book we provide every travel enthusiast the opportunity to simply drive out and enjoy the country.” Bob Rupani, the author, expressed his joy at working with VW India for writing about travel and driving. He wishes that the book encourages individuals to not only visit the locations, but also drive out.
