Moving away from standard petrol and diesel engine options, Ford has been spied testing the Figo CNG for the very first time. Although the company has not spoken about its plans to introduce a CNG variant, the test mule images indicate on its launch to be sometime soon.

Ford has been planning on introducing the Figo facelift model in the country and going by the test mule images, the CNG variant is likely to be introduced in the upgraded model. The car features a new dual-tone rear bumper along with a CNG sticker on the rear windshield.

It is believed that that the Figo facelift might be offered with the new 1.2-litre, three-cylinder Dragon series petrol engine that generates 95bhp of power with 115Nm of torque. However, the power output figure in the CNG variant is likely to differ and be slightly lower. The diesel version will continue to be powered by a 1.5-litre engine that generates 99bhp of power and 215Nm of torque.
