      Clarion launches Android based AX1 car stereo in India

      Driving around everyday can be pretty boring at times, especially when you spend most time of the day commuting. A good music system can come as a blessing at such times. Renowned Japanese car audio maker Clarion has recently launched the AX1 – An Android based car stereo system for the Indian market. Exclusive India sales rights for Clarion AX1 has been given to Supreme Audiotronics Pvt. Ltd.

      The Clarion AX1 car stereo has received 6.5-inch WVGA TFT LCD display with capacitive multi-touch panel. The device is blessed with Virtual Acoustic Positioning System (VAPS) technology that delivers sound staging and music enhancement (for OEM customers). The device is capable of browsing over the Internet faster using on Wi-Fi due to 800MHz automobile processor, with 1GB of RAM. Clarion has also tied up with T-Series to let users access a wide range of music albums and songs. Moreover, Clarion has also tied up with its technology partner Infogo to allows users to access a catalog of over 25 Million fully licensed DRM free songs.

      The Clarion AX1 also gets internal and external microphone support Image viewer that supports file formats like TIFF, JPEG, BMP and PNG. The device has also received rear camera input option. Videos play with lifelike clarity owing to 1080P full HD playback, HDMI video output. The Clarion AX1 is available in India for Rs. 55,990.
