Citroen India has updated its vehicles with the BS6 Phase 2 compliant powertrains. With this, the brand has also increased the ex-showroom prices of its range in India. The updated prices of the C5 Aircross have not been disclosed yet. However, the C3 will be dearer by Rs. 18,000 from 1 April, 2023.
The Citroen C3 is an entry-level hatchback that is available in three trim levels – Live, Feel, and Feel Turbo. While the former two variants get a hike of Rs. 18,000 each, the Feel Turbo variant’s price remains unchanged.
Mechanically, the C3 is offered with two engine options – a 1.2-litre NA petrol engine and a 1.2-litre turbo petrol engine. These engines are now RDE norms and OBD 2 compliant. For the transmission, the NA petrol engine is paired to a five-speed manual gearbox, while the latter turbo petrol motor is equipped with a six-speed manual unit.
