General Motors India has finally released a teaser for the much awaited Chevrolet Beat facelift, which is set to make its debut at the forthcoming 2014 Delhi Auto Expo. The teaser is accompanied by the following statement: 'Style is coming to take the country by storm'. Chevrolet Beat first debuted in India back in 2010, but only in a petrol version. And it wasn't till 2011, that the company added the diesel version of the car to the Beat's range. General Motors then went on to unveil the Beat facelift in 2012 at the Paris Motor Show, and the facelift is now on sale in several European markets.

The facelifted hatchback features a handful of cosmetic changes including a new bumper, grille and roof spoiler. The interior is different too as it takes on a new center console, better storage along with a change of colour. The Indian version of the will also sport a central rear height-adjustable headrest, as observed in spyshots. The hatchback will also feature a new set of alloy wheels.

Mechanically, the Beat facelift will employ the same engines as the ones doing duty on the predecessor: a 1.2-litre petrol and the 0.9-litre diesel engine. The engines will be mated to a 5-speed manual transmission though there is speculation that the carmaker might also introduce automatic transmission on the hatchback.

Other than unveiling the 2014 Chevrolet Beat facelift's unveiling on February 5, General Motors will also display the following models: Sail & Sail U-VA with added features, the Enjoy MPV, the Trailblazer SUV, the 2013 Corvette and finally, the Camaro.
