India is going to complete 66 years of independence on the 15th of August, resulting in celebrations all across the country. Calling it the ‘Independence Day’ celebrations offer, the auto maker is offering discounts of up to Rs. 66000, valid till 15th of August on its all models. Industry experts feel that this is the best time to purchase a Chevrolet model as this package is quite appealing. Notably, the company is offering discounts on both diesel and petrol versions of cars like Spark, Beat, Sail and Cruze.
Industry experts feel that this is a planned strategy by Chevrolet India to cash in on the occasion of Independence Day, a spectacle celebrated throughout the country. It must be noted that the auto industry, in general, is going through a torrid time as sales have been declining for the past few months. Simultaneously, the financial crisis in the country has further bogged down car makers through widespread price rise, thereby affecting the profit margins. Car makers, as a result, are resorting to different strategies to counter the slowdown. Huge discounts on cars, free insurance, lucrative warranty deals, introduction of new cars and launching limited editions of successful models are some of the methods adopted by auto companies.
As a part of the ‘Independence Day’ package by Chevrolet, customers can buy all cars at discounted rates. The petrol variant of the Beat hatchback comes with benefits of up to Rs. 66000, whereas the diesel version offers benefits of up to Rs. 60000. Chevrolet Spark, another hatchback from the American auto maker, is on sale at a discount of up to Rs. 58000. On the other hand, the petrol versions of Sail hatchback and Sail sedan come with discount and benefits of up to Rs. 33000 and Rs. 35000. Chevrolet Cruze, the premium sedan, can be bought with benefits of Rs. 45000 on its price.
