American car maker, Chevrolet has clandestinely launched the new Chevrolet Beat LPG with the newly developed SMARTECH engine. The OEM website showcases the features of the new variant in alignment with the existing variants of the Beat. The filling capacity in this new car is tipped off as 26.2 Kmpl while the fuel economy of 13.2 kmpl has been certified by the ARAI.

The new Chevrolet Beat LPG comes equipped with multipoint sequential LPG kit and offers advantages such as better routing control, reduced weight, corrosion resistance. Apart from this, the car also promises no jerks and backfires which result in a smooth and problem free switch to LPG from petrol and back. Chevrolet Beat LPG also boasts of being the first LPG car in India to utilise high pressure LPG pipes and high strength Nylon. One of the most convenient features is the location of the LPG tank itself. The LPG tank placed under the bonnet saves the boot space from being crowded and makes room for luggage and other things. A fuel range of 1000 kms reduce trips to the gas stations.

The speculated price of the new Beat suggests an increase of INR 35,000 over the existing variants. The official price has not been announced by the company as yet.

Besides these characteristics, one of the biggest incentive to buy this car is Chevrolet’s 3 years or 45,000 km (whichever is earlier) free maintenance which is hard to refuse.
