General Motors India Private Limited, a domestic subsidiary of the American passenger car maker General Motors, is celebrating three years of its Chevrolet Beat hatchback in the country. The cute hatchback is among the company's best selling products in Indian auto market at the moment.
To commemorate three years of Beat's existence in the Indian circuit, the company is offering the model through a highly exciting offer. As per the 3rd anniversary scheme, a brand new Chevrolet Beat model can be purchased for just Rs. 3.39 lakh (the ex-showroom price) in the country. The interested domestic buyers can avail this special offer on the Chevy Beat, one of the India's most fuel efficient cars, till June 20, 2013.
The 3rd anniversary scheme is available only on the Chevrolet Beat petrol trim. Under its hood, the car is powered by a 1.2 litre petrol engine that develops a peak power of 79 bhp, along with a top torque figure of 108 Nm. This frugal power-mill delivers a mileage of 18.6 kmpl (certified by ARAI). Through its special offer, the American car maker has cut down the price of its Beat petrol by a huge fraction.
Speaking of highlight features of the Chevrolet Beat, the hatchback is fitted with an Air Conditioning (AC) system, power steering, power windows, and body coloured bumpers. The stylish car also comes with a warranty of 45000 km or 3 years, whichever comes first. The new offer can also be clubbed with exchange of an old car.
