Buyers looking for ultimate performance and superior comfort were also not disappointed by the auto companies as facelift models of Chevrolet Cruze and Audi A4 were introduced in the Indian market. New version of Cruze was incorporated with a more powerful 2.2 litre engine, which had a power output of 164 bhp. The model was also provided with several overhauls, which made it count among the most appreciated cars of the country in 2012. Next in the line was reworked version of luxurious Audi A4, which was provided with the title of most affordable Audi in India. It featured redesigned LED headlamps, fog lamps and front air dam to provide a sharp and aggressive look to the model.

The facelift trend was also accepted by a handful of Utility Vehicles (UV) like Toyota Innova, Chevrolet Captiva and Toyota Fortuner. All these models were well-acclaimed by the Indian buyers, however they were demanding a rework. Refreshed Toyota Innova featured new interiors and exteriors, including redesigned front grill, fog lamps, wrap around headlights, designer alloy wheels and bumper, which together provided a cosy image to the model.

The initially introduced model of Chevrolet Captiva was unable to perform well in the Indian market and therefore, the American auto giant was forced to make some cosmetic changes in it. The engine of this model was upgraded to 2.2 litre from 2.0 litre with a six speed automatic transmission against the five speed gearbox. These up gradations were happily accepted by the buyers. In order to deliver a direct face off to newly launched Captiva, Toyota rolled out its refreshed model of Fortuner, which featured several overhauls and cosmetic changes. The model had new LED tail lights, bumpers and a chrome polished logo of the model.

With all these models, the buyers had a good time in 2012 as they were not asked to compensate on any of their demanding feature. Now it’s time to look for some new models in 2013, which will surely break the records of last year.
