      Cars Get Cheaper?

      Car makers in India are wooing customers to buy cars in the month of December. As the year ends, car makers in India are getting ready to pamper the buyers. This move comes from auto makers to make people avoid buying cars as the next year's model. All major auto companies in India like Maruti, Hyundai, Ford, etc. have announced heavy discounts on all their popular models.

      Ford India slashed its prices by Rs. 91,000 for its most popular model, Ford Fiesta. According to the company statement, he price of its Fiesta EXI petrol would go down by Rs.91000 to Rs.529,000, while diesel variant would be cheaper by Rs 51,000 at Rs 659,000. The discounted price lasts only for 10 days starting from Wednesday and only at select dealerships. The new Ford Fiesta petrol model will now cost Rs. 5.29 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi) than its earlier price of Rs. 6.2 lakh.

      Maruti also plans to offer the discount on WagonR model from Rs. 25000 to Rs.35000 and discount of Rs. 10000 to Rs.15000 on Maruti Alto. Hyundai, that already has schemes running on its popular models like Santro and the i10, is also set to announce a fresh scheme in the next 2 days. The company promises its new scheme to be an attractive offer that would include free insurance costing Rs. 12000, Rs. 5000 discount on i10 and Rs. 4000 off on its Verna sedan.
