Bugatti Veyron, one of the fastest luxury sports cars in the world, will no longer be available on sale as the company has stopped the production of the car. While launching the Bugatti Veyron EB 16.4 in year 2003, the company had said that it will only manufacture a limited number of units of the car. Now, after 8 years, the company has achieved the sales mark of 300 units.

In the initial two years of its launch, the company managed to sell a mere 5 units of the car, raising doubts among the auto industry experts that the car may not reach the targeted figure of 300 units. But, as sales figures of the car reached to 81 units in year 2007, and 291 units by 2010, the target become achievable. The company managed to sell 9 more units of the car in the first half of this year. The 300th unit of the car is yet to be delivered by the company, which will be sold to an unknown buyer in the European market.

Even after stopping production of Veyron EB 16.4, the company will continue to make the Veyron Grand Sport model.
