Bavarian auto giant BMW will launch facelift version of X3 in India by end of this month. It has been learnt from sources that BMW has locked August 28th for the launch of new X3 in domestic market. At the 2014 Geneva Motor Show held earlier this, X3 facelift was showcased by the auto maker. Changes made to the vehicle are confined to few cosmetic changes and insignificant mechanical changes. We can expect a string of design changes to be made on the new X3 facelift. Among the exterior changes new twin-circular head lamps complimented well by BMW’s signature kidney shaped grille are likely to be equipped. Other vital changes such as revised bumpers, redesigned tail lights and alloy wheels flaunting new designs have also been done.

Minimal tweaks will be seen inside the cabin like addition of sliding cover in the centre console, new upholstery rendering a uber chic look to the cabin and new cup-holders. As mentioned above changes made to interiors are minimal, hence everything else remains the same. BMW has also not modified the overall design and dimensions of the vehicle it remains unchanged. Similarly engine set up also remains unchanged and the facelift variant of X3 is expected to come housed with a 2.0 litre and a 3.0 litre diesel powertrains. The only tweak made in mechanical front is slightly enhanced power output offered by the 2.0 litre diesel mill.
