BMW has launched the facelift version of X3 SUV in India today. The SUV has been launched in two trim levels, X3 xDrive20d Expedition and X3 xDrive20d xLine. The xDrive20d Expedition variant is priced at Rs 44.90 lakh and the xDrive20d xLine is available for sale at Rs 49.90 lakh (ex-showroom price). Changes made to the SUV include few cosmetic and mechanical tweaks. In the front the vehicle comes equipped with larger head lights as compared to the previous version, other than this BMW’s signature kidney shaped grille goes unnoticed. LED infused head lights have been offered as an optional feature. Front and rear bumpers have been revised, additional features comprise of ORVMs with blinkers and redesigned alloy wheels.
Inside the cabin, near leather upholstery has been bestowed, a piano black centre console, new cup-holders and automatic boot-opener sums up tweaks made in the cabin. The vehicle gets an all new HV/AC display and optional navigation system has also been revised. Mechanically there has been no change, engine set up includes a 2.0 litre and a 3.0 litre diesel powertrains from the previous version. BMW claims that the fuel efficiency has been improved by 7.1 per cent.
