BMW X1 launch in India by December 23rd with price between 22 and 32.5 lakh

BMW, the world’s famous luxury automobile manufacturer is going to release its much awaited model BMW X1 on coming 23rd of December. This car will be the cheapest BMW car in India and thus can be called as budget luxury car.

The BMW X1 prices range between 22 and 32.5 lakhs. The prices of BMW X1 are very competitive and attractive - the costs of BMW X1 in detail are - X1 sDrive 1.8i petrol version costs Rs 22 lakh, X1 sDrive 20d variant costs Rs 23.90 lakh, X1 sDrive 20d Exclusive version costs Rs 29.90 lakh and X1 sDrive 20d Cool Elegance costs Rs 32.5lakh, all prices ex showroom Delhi.

BMW X1 will be available in three variants in the country, viz. Corporate Edition (two-wheel drive), which is a basic model and a two wheel drive Exclusive, which is the mid-variant and two-wheel drive Cool Elegance, the top-end. Also the company is planning to launch all-wheel drive in the country. However, the launch date of all-wheel drive is yet to be announced.

The variants comes with two engine options (1.8 L petrol engine and 2.0 L diesel engine). Corporate version will be available both in petrol and diesel versions and the high-end variant will be available only in diesel engine.

So far the pre-order bookings have reached 200 plus units in Delhi/NCR region and 300 plus order from Mumbai. The customers should pay 3 lakhs as a down payment in order to block the vehicle and the expected waiting period is five to six months according to the dealerships of BMW.

BMW X1 will be assembled at BMW’s plant in Chennai after import of components from abroad. Following this, the company is planning to produce BMW X1 in the Nation itself.
